It was easy to climb up the career ladder and that’s just what Julie Cubino did as a senior engineering manager at IBM. There was only one problem — her proverbial ladder was up against the wrong building. She loved the people management aspects of her job. What she wasn’t passionate about was computer chips. This internal dilemma of achieving success while lacking full passion for her work led to much soul searching.
The culmination of this soul searching was simple. For Julie, success and passion needed to be together in her life work. She also realized that her passion was helping people to overcome their challenges, achieve their goals, and live in harmony.
Kevin Grosselfinger was involved in many of those soul searching conversations with Julie. As the ideas unfolded, it was obvious that Kevin had fabulous skills in business infrastructure in combination with his deep sensitivity for people.
Together they decided to put their gifts together into a business. The year was 2004 and Harmony At Last was born. As you may have guessed, the “Harmony At Last” name actually has two meanings. The first is in Julie Cubino’s and Kevin Grosselfinger’s desire to personally live in harmony and balance. The second is to help other’s find that harmony on their personal life journey.
